My Haul – A Good Start to March

In the first few days of this month I have found some interesting items, so I thought I would do a Haul of them.
Snoopy is at McDonalds! I have collected Snoopy figures for years and years and years. So I was excited to see McDonalds in North America are doing a Snoopy Happy Meal whilst I am here in Canada. So far I have Snoopy as a baseball player, an astronaut, and a detective, none of which I have seen versions of in the UK! I really want to get the pirate Snoopy.

I’ve mentioned before I collect Pez dispensers. In Dollarama I tracked down Jasmine who is one of the most elusive Disney Princess Pez.

Disney Happy Places series 2 hit the shelves of Walmart and I bought the Rapunzel starter pack. For the amount you get (not all items are shown) the starter pack is good value compared the blind boxes, it also includes larger items like cabinets. My favourite items in the pack are the lamp, sewing machine and mechanical pencil sharpener.

Another Dollarama find was a TsumTsum blind bag. I got a Toy Story alien! It comes with a little rocket to display it in and the rocket has the claw attached.
In my February Haul I mentioned I had found Young Justice comics in Dollarama for $3 each. In a different branch of Dollarama I found another three volumes. I love the cover art of Kid Flash on the volume in the middle.
Finally, in my Black Panther review I talked about how I thought Shuri was awesome. In Walmart I found the Shuri action figure and I knew I had to get. I think this is a good figure of her and I particularly like how her gauntlets are removable.

All of these items have been found in the first few days of this months and so I think it has been a good start to March.

My Haul – Heroes and My Favourite Villain in Toronto

At the weekend I went to Toronto. If you know me than you know that I cannot go to a big city without buying something so here’s a haul post detailing what I bought.

Last time I went to Toronto I bought Itty Bitty’s from the Hallmark in the Eaton Centre. I did the same this time. Maleficent is my favourite Disney villain, I just had to get her Itty Bitty given how fabulous she looks.

I didn’t like the Rey Itty Bitty that was released for The Force Awakens, however now the collection for this years The Last Jedi has been released and I think that the new Rey looks a lot better than the previous one. There wasn’t much question about adding the second best Star Wars character to my collection (we all know Leia is the best).

In my last haul post I mentioned that Tsum Tsum lip balms are now a thing. In Toronto I was able to track down Maleficent’s!

In my post about my day in Toronto I mentioned that I visited a comic cafĂ©. From there I bought Volume 3 of the ongoing DC Rebirth Flash series. So far this series has been really good so I’m glad to add the latest instalment to my collection, especially as it was from somewhere so cool!
Every year Disney Store releases a collection of Disney Princess Christmas Ornaments and every year I buy one princess. I limit myself to only one of the princess decorations because otherwise I’d end up with hundreds of Disney Christmas decorations. I was really torn about who I wanted to buy this year but when I noticed that Belle and Tiana had already sold out I decided to take the plunge and buy Rapunzel. I really like how detailed she is and I love how they made her usual dress look a little more winter ready. Now in years to come when I get out my Disney Princess Christmas Ornament Collection I will look at Rapunzel and think of how I bought her in Toronto during my year abroad.

That’s what I bought this time during my visit to Toronto.

My Haul – Star Wars, Superheroes and Tsum Tsums

I’ve bought various things since I last wrote a My Haul post and I thought it was about time that I did a roundup of some of the stuff that I’ve bought recently.
Star Wars dolls are a thing now, this is awesome. However, despite the fact that they launched over summer I have only just bought my first one. This is Sabine Wren (she’s from the TV series Star Wars Rebels), she’s a cool character and she was really hard to find, however I managed to get her for a reasonable price online. She’s currently displayed with my Mulan doll (who I bought in Toronto), Sabine looks like she’s recruiting Mulan for the Rebellion.

I picked up the latest DC Superhero Girls comic from my local comic store. I’ve loved DC Superhero Girls since it started but I think this is possibly my favourite volume of the comic series so far.

Tsum Tsum lip balms are another thing that’s available. I have quite dry lips and so I use lip balm regularly therefore these are collectibles that are actually useful! I’ve got two so far, Olaf and Dory, however I know there’s more available.

It’s not winter just quite yet but fall is starting to set in and the need for warmer clothing is becoming increasingly apparent. Therefore when I saw that Walmart were selling Flash hoodies I obviously had to get one!

Today I went out to the Thrift Store. Last time I went I found the Supergirl DC Superhero Girls mini doll. This time I found Batgirl! Hopefully when I next go I can find the other three girls released in this collection.

So what I’ve bought over the past fortnight or so. I’m pleased with this lot.

My Haul – An Interesting Haul

Well I recently had a short break in my Uni city, one last visit before I fly out to Canada. Whilst I was there I did some shopping and ended up buying quite a lot of interesting things. It’s an interesting and varied selection that I thought was worth writing a haul post about.

First stop for buying things was Disney Store, currently there’s a collection of plushies on offer. Meeko from Pocahontas was included in this offer and I just had to get him. If you know me you probably know that I love racoons and Meeko is my favourite Disney animal sidekick.

I like Tsum Tsums. That’s probably become pretty obvious given just how often they pop up in My Hauls. As I went to Disney Store I added an Ewok from the recently released Return of the Jedi collection. I love that expression which both manages to look manic and endearing.

And the final item in Disney Store was the growing Groot action figure. I saw him first back when Guardiansof the Galaxy Vol. 2 was released and thought it was a cool idea for a figure however the price seemed too expensive. But just £6.29 in the summer sale seems good value.

In Build A Bear Workshop I found a bear Flash tee, given how much I love the Flash obviously I had to get it. I’m hoping this might mean that they’re also going to do a Flash bear for when Justice League comes out.

Doctor Who Mr Men books are a genuine officially licensed thing. They’re actually well done and funny, both an affectionate tribute to the various eras of the show and a parody of them. I added the Seventh Doctor to my growing collection of them.

An unexpected present was Nadiya’s British Food Adventure, the latest cookbook from the wonderful Nadiya Hussain. I’ve been watching the series and each week I have been thinking how good the recipes are and that I definitely need to get the book so I can cook them. And now I have the book!

Right at the very end of the break I found the Tiana doll by Hasbro on a really good offer. I do already have a Tiana however I absolutely love The Princess and the Frog and Tiana is my favourite Disney Princess. I wanted to get another one as my Tiana was not wearing the green dress and as this was on offer I decided to finally get her.

So that’s it for this haul. I think it’s an interesting selection of stuff that manages to cover all of my interests and enthusiasms. I suspect that probably the next time I’m writing a big haul post like this I will be in Canada!

My Haul – Space Stuff and a bit of DC

In this haul post I’m doing a bit of a roundup of some of my recent purchases. Funnily enough several of the things I’ve bought recently have a bit of a space theme.

First, in B & M Bargains I found this large Green Arrow action figure. As I found him in a B & M he was obviously a bargain, I paid just 6.99! He’s in scale with the Flash I bought in a previous haul, both of them are roughly in scale with the DC Superhero Girls dolls. With Flash, Green Arrow and Supergirl I appear to have inadvertently collected the lead characters from the DC TV Series!

Next, at an Antique and Collectors fair that I went to recently I found this wonderful Wall-E and Eve. I got the two of them for only £12 which is a good deal, especially given that they’re in good condition. As far as I can tell they were released back when the movie came out. Both of them are highly poseable. Wall-E also has light up eyes and makes sounds which is very endearing.

I found the Tsum Tsum of Finn from Star Wars for just 99p! At such a good price I decided that I had to add him to my collection. Previously I’ve bought Rey and Poe so now I have the complete team of the new resistance fighters that were introduced in The Force Awakens.

Finally I bought a new comic, the first DC Rebirth volume of Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps. DC Rebirth is the most recent relaunch/reboot of the DC Comics universe. I’ve read a few Rebirth volumes and they’re really good because they’ve taken the characters back to the core of who they are. As I’ve been wanting to try Green Lantern comics for a while this seemed like a good jumping on point.

So that’s some of my recent purchase, Space Stuff and a bit of DC.

My Haul – DC Comics, Disney and Star Wars

Just yesterday I posted that I would be doing more Haul posts if I bought an interesting selection of stuff. Well today I bought an interesting selection of stuff that includes things from DC Comics, Disney and Star Wars.

First up, The Lego Batman Movie on DVD. I love DC Comics and I love Lego so of course I liked this film and of course I was going to buy it on DVD. In Tesco I found that they are selling it with a free Lego mini set that includes a mini figure of the Joker who I don’t already have a mini figure of.

Next I found this Justice League t-shirt that has both the Flash and Wonder Woman on it! How could I possibly refuse buying a tee that has my two favourite DC characters on it? This is also extra exciting for me as it is usually really hard to find Wonder Woman included on men’s tees.

Another of today’s finds was the Tsum Tsum of Hank from Finding Dory. He was reduced to just £1.99 and I found that grumpy face too funny to resist. Hank is the 3rd character from Finding Nemo/Dory that I have a Tsum Tsum of. I previously bought Squirt and Bruce.

Finally I bought a Chewbacca Itty Bitty. Itty Bitty’s are still pretty hard to find in the UK, however my collection is increasingly growing. Chewie is the first Star Wars character in my collection. My Itty Bitty collection now includes Star Wars, Disney, Marvel and DC characters.
