My Haul – Ooooo, new things for my collections!

It’s time for another haul post. This week there’s a Disney plushie, doll stuff and an action figure. A fairly common selection of stuff for me!

I went in Disney Store and was like ‘Oooo’! They had the plushies of the aliens from Toy Story reduced to just £5! I bought a larger one of these back in 2012 when I went to Disneyland Paris for the very first time, he’s been cuddled a lot over the years and is now looking a little worse for wear so I decided to take advantage of the offer and buy a new one!

I got a few things to go with my doll collection today. In Tiger I bought a pineapple print deck chair which Supergirl is sat in! I bought another Barbie fashion pack, I actually got this one in a previous haul but I wanted the blue shoes for Ariel. She’s also ended up taking the bag, the bangle and the necklace!

I'd been looking for that particular variant for a while and he’s started to become increasingly rare. Of course I then found him reduced in Sainsbury’s, I have really good luck in the toy aisle at Sainsbury’s! He’s now my fourth Marvel character in this collection so it looks like my Avengers are assembling! I also like that these figures are roughly in scale with the DC Superhero Girls dolls for Marvel and DC crossovers.

So that’s my haul for the week. Not the biggest selection of stuff but I thought it was an interesting assortment.

My Haul – DC Superhero Girls, Disney and More

It’s time for my fourth Haul post this time featuring DC Superhero Girls, Disney and more.

I found Jasmine’s Disney Infinity figure in TK Maxx for just £3.99. I never played the Disney Infinity game but I collect the figures (Jasmine is my 12th one). I usually find them on offer and they’re just really nice figures of the Disney characters.

Another Barbie accessory pack, I first figured out that these work well with Disney dolls in one of my previous hauls. Since then I’ve been keeping an eye out for other packs that might work well with my dolls. This baking set is going to be perfect for my Tiana doll, especially as I plan on (eventually getting around to) making a bakery for Tiana.

In my blog post about Doll Collecting I mentioned that there was at least three more dolls I wanted to get, one of those dolls was the Supergirl doll from DC Superhero Girls. I wanted to get Supergirl more or less straight after I started to watch the TV series but I struggled to figure out which version of her doll I wanted, then today I found this version for ½ price in Sainsbury’s! Also as I bought a 12” Flash action figure a few weeks back I had to have her recreating the crossover episode with him.

Supergirl wasn’t the only superhero bargain that I found in Sainsbury’s today. I found this Marvel pencil case in the clearance section. Appropriately enough I’ve recently been thinking about getting a pencil case to keep all my colouring pencils in.

I mentioned back in my first haul post that I love Comic Relief red noses and I’ve been collecting them for over a decade. After several duplicates I decided today to get one last red nose and this time I got a different one!

My Haul – First Saturday of 2017

‘My Haul’ videos seem to be pretty popular and so I thought I’d give it a go here on my blog.

Since the first weekend of my first semester of my first year at uni I have gone out at 9AM (when the shops open) to walk around the city centre. Each week I buy an interesting assortment of stuff - sometimes things I’ve been looking for, sometimes things in a store’s sale and sometimes new arrivals in store - this Saturday’s haul is certainly an interesting mix of stuff.

Since I started to collect dolls I’ve been keeping an eye out for mini items that can be used in scale with a doll. This suitcase I got from Tiger is one of those mini items. I think it fits quite well with Pocahontas.

I wanted to get this Doctor Who figure set when it first came out but for one reason or another I never actually got round to buying it. This morning I found it on sale for £4.99 so I finally bought it.

I’ve got a new Itty Bitty! Itty Bitty’s are these fun little plushies of pop culture characters from Hallmark, there are tons of characters available internationally (I love the one of Princess Tiana) but there’s still not been very many of them released in the UK. Iron Man joins the Flash, Captain America and Wonder Woman in my collection.

Finally the 2017 Red Noses are now available! I’ve been collecting the Red Noses for a decade now and I’ve started off my 2017 collection today with the Viking nose and the Dragon nose. There’s definitely going to be more of these over the coming weeks!

If people seem to be interested in my haul then I might make this a weekly blog feature.
